"Basic forms"

I can't tell you how many times I've heard that lesson (basic forms), But never really HEARD it(if your an artist you know exactly what I mean).

I feel as if I finally understand what it means, and its starting to pay off.

The gentlemen in profile is a good example of a rendering without much form(shame, shame).

Illustrator is quite frustrating at first, but with doing this project i have been really learning to have fun with it and enjoy its tools and capabilities.
This is a Character I am developing with my uncle, Mr. Chee-Z.





also here are some Storyboards I worked on this week.
Storyboarding is a process I admire, it may be rough, quick drawings, but depending on the complexity/budget of the film, your mind is really working hard on coming up with interesting, new and cohesive compositions.

This storyboard is about as simple as they come, non the less it was fun yet draining.

I still love going to the dog park and watching the characters of the K9s, really fun time. Just playing with some water color in this Caricature of my girlfriend Anna.
oil painting i did last week in a open workshop...getting a little more comfortable with oils. and more mice..were infested!
