Still life
Still life from my "Drawing in color" class, About 2 1/2 hours of work, it was a mask and a skull.
Colored paper, B&W charcoal, and conte crayon.
I was pretty pleased with it, enjoy.
Madame butterfly
I recently saw the movie Kung Fu Panda, and let me tell you, SWEET!
Before I even saw the movie I had been blown away by an artist named Damon Bard, he does sculpture maquettes that are just amazing.
Damon did character turn-arounds for "Panda" and as I was researching his work it inspired me to make my own maquettes for a book I am currently illustrating. So here's a little piece I did using a couple mediums like sculpey, colored paper, and foam pads...she's going to be the butterfly in the book.

Here's a little "sculpiture" I did on Indy.
Not really much of a Harrison Ford likeness, but it's not to bad for 1 hour 5 inches and no paint.
I like to do this every once and awhile, I think it's one of the most beneficial excercises there is for drawing Caricatures, or anythong else.
Sorry the pictures are pretty bad....
